The Role:
We are seeking a passionate engineer to lead "next-generation material development," a core driver for expanding Entegris’ world-leading Liquid Microcontamination Control (LMC) business. Join us in driving the evolution of filtration technologies that power the cutting edge of semiconductor manufacturing.
In this role you will:
This role requires a development engineer who can put the following concepts into practice.
The concepts of:
Collaborate closely with outsource suppliers
Membrane development in consideration of semiconductoer application
Sustained experiment method development for next-generation membrane technologies
Rigor and speed in execution
We value your ability to do the following:
Managing a membrane development work in Japan.
Establish new membrane experiment method for next-generation membranes.
Solving technical challenge for next-generation membrane development.
Support troubleshooting to other departments
Collaborate proactively with the other engineering teams, applications and product marketing to drive product development that meets or exceeds customer specifications.
Introduce capital equipment to expand engineering capabilities in Japan.
Demonstrate willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in order to support the overall organization.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
BS or MS in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of experience in chemical analysis or product development
Able to work fully on-site both in a lab and office environment. Remote work available upon request.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
Experience in R&D for filtration and separation membranes
Experience with liquid filtration or purification technology
Strong analytical skills including experience with SEM, ICP-MS, GC, FTIR, e.t.c.
Knowledge and experience in front-end semiconductor manufacturing
