POSITION OVERVIEW
• Lead a 32-bed Intensive Care Unit within a 199-bed acute care hospital
• Direct ICU operations, staffing, budgeting, and quality improvement initiatives
• Partner with physicians and executive leadership to improve patient outcomes
• Support expansion of the hospital's cardiac service line
• Foster evidence-based practice and professional staff development
• Drive clinical excellence through performance metrics and operational leadership

SCHEDULE

• Onsite Hospital Leadership Role

ROLE
• Oversee daily ICU clinical and operational performance
• Lead hiring, coaching, evaluations, and staff development
• Monitor ICU quality metrics and patient outcomes
• Manage departmental budgets and financial performance
• Ensure regulatory, legal, and ethical compliance
• Develop strategic initiatives to improve patient care and department performance
• Collaborate with executive leadership and interdisciplinary teams

Requirements

• Active New Mexico RN License Or Compact RN License REQUIRED
• Associate Degree In Nursing REQUIRED
• Previous Nursing Leadership Experience REQUIRED
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Experience REQUIRED
• Ability To Relocate Within 30-45 Days REQUIRED
• Strong Leadership, Budgeting, And Staff Development Skills REQUIRED
