Maintenance Technician

Location: Logansport, IN

Wage Range: $29.00 – $34.55/hour (based on skill level)

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, piping systems, and electrical components in a commercial and industrial setting. This role is essential to keeping our operations running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment.

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and structural repairs.

• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems (valves, gauges, regulators).

• Install and repair electrical systems: conduit, wiring, motors, transformers, and control panels.

• Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed.

• Assist with furnace startup/shutdown and support other departments.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Communicate effectively with Maintenance Leads and Management regarding issues and progress.

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Experience with mechanical repairs, electrical controls, and 3-phase power.

• Knowledge of fabrication, plumbing, pipefitting, and millwright techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

• Familiarity with safety protocols including lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) and HAZMAT.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.

• Strong problem-solving ability and self-motivation.

• Dependable with solid listening skills.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
