Job Description

Do you enjoy helping technical people grow while staying close to customers and new technology? As our Manager of Sales Engineering & Training for the Nordics, you'll lead a team of Sales Engineers and Trainers who help our partners and customers succeed with Axis solutions. You'll also oversee Axis Academy courses in the Nordics. This role is based at our headquarters in Lund, Sweden.

Who is your future team?

You'll lead a team of about 10 Sales Engineers and Trainers, based in four countries, who support our partners and customers across the Nordics. The team works closely with our local sales team and provides technical pre-sales support and training to our partners. They play a key part in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction in the region. You'll report to the Manager, Sales Engineering & Training – Northern & Eastern Europe.

What you'll do as Sales Engineering & Training Manager

You'll run the team's day-to-day work and also plan how the team and the function should develop over time. As a hands-on leader, you'll manage, coach and coordinate your team of highly skilled individuals. You'll also work closely with our largest partners and customers, supporting them on complex, critical or high-potential business opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Team leadership: Manage, coach and develop your team, and lead its day-to-day work

• Strategic development: Plan the future direction of sales engineering and training in the Nordics

• Axis Academy: Oversee our courses offered to partners and customers in Nordic

• Technical leadership and Customer engagement: Work closely with key partners and handle escalated technical questions and issues

• Cross-functional collaboration: Work with other Axis departments on events, projects and other activities

• Industry insight and learning: Follow developments in the security industry and keep building your own and your team's skills

Who are you?

You're a leader who cares about both technology and people development. You enjoy getting results through others, and your open-minded, motivating style makes you a role model for your team. You're comfortable with change in a fast-paced sales environment and can handle strategic and operational work side by side. You're curious about Axis technology, our products and the security industry, and you enjoy working as part of a team.

We'd love to hear that you have:

• A degree in engineering or business, or equivalent experience

• Solid experience of leading and developing people with an engineering background, ideally in a fast-paced sales environment

• Familiarity with hardware, networking or IP-based technologies

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Bonus points for:

• Experience from the security, CCTV or related industries

Travel: You'll travel primarily within the Nordics for up to 30% of your time.
