Position Description
The role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, data governance, reporting, and process enhancement initiatives across the Wealth Management product platform. The successful candidate will work closely with Product, Front Office, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure efficient product management, accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and maintain the product database for all wealth management offerings, including bonds, funds, structured products, and wealth planning services, ensuring accurate classification and data integrity across systems.
- Prepare product transaction data and management reports, including sales and business performance analysis, to support decision-making and business growth.
- Maintain accurate records for all wealth planning products and referral business activities, and monitor the utilization of services provided by other business lines.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, process bottlenecks, and control gaps, and recommend process enhancements or automation solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with technology team and relevant stakeholders to implement system enhancements, optimize workflows, and improve operational controls and data quality.
- Manage invoicing and revenue recognition processes for wealth management products and services, including reconciliations and reporting support.
- Act as a key liaison between business, operations, technology, and other stakeholders to resolve product-related issues and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Prepare daily trade reports and support regulatory reporting, file and submissions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ad hoc projects, business initiatives, and assignments as required.
Requirements
- Degree holder with 3-8 years of relevant experience in Wealth Management Product Operations, Product Control, Business Management, or Operations within banking, securities, wealth management, private banking, or asset management.
- Solid understanding of wealth management products, including bonds, funds, structured products, and wealth planning solutions.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience in product data management, transaction reporting, reconciliation, and process improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of VBA, SAS, SQL, Power BI, or other automation tools is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, service-oriented, and collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior position.
