Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Management in Franklin, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify access credentials, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter incidents while supporting a positive experience for employees, visitors, and drivers. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, maintain visitor and driver logs, and control entry and exit in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required records related to access activity, incidents, and daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
