Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and persistent Off-Site Receiving Specialist to manage remote inventory operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate data entry into NetSuite, maintaining strict inventory controls, and aggressively clearing receiving backlogs. You will serve as the frontline defense against supply chain discrepancies by documenting, reporting, and driving the resolution of all inbound shipping errors.

What You'll Do:

  • System Receiving: Process all incoming shipments directly into NetSuite in a timely and accurate manner.
  • 3PL Compliance & Oversight: Ensure the 3PL provider adheres strictly to Harbinger's receiving SOPs. This includes maintaining clear, timely communication regarding any discrepancies in documentation, physical quantities, or product damages.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain strict REV-level (revision level) inventory control to ensure exact product tracking and quality standards.
  • Discrepancy Auditing: Inspect all new inbound shipments for accuracy against packing slips, purchase orders, and physical counts.
  • Backlog Management: Identify, investigate, and clear the existing backlog of missed receipts to bring inventory records up to date.
  • Error Logging & Communication: Document and report any issues preventing a receipt from being processed using the internal receiving error log and dedicated Slack channels.
  • Resolution Drive: Proactively pursue resolutions for receiving errors by collaborating with purchasing, warehouse operations, and vendors.
  • Process Improvement: Maintain strict persistence to documentation standards and actively drive long-term error corrections.

Who You Are:

  • Software Experience: Proven experience using NetSuite (or similar ERP systems) for inventory or receiving modules.
  • Communication Tools: Proficiency with Slack and spreadsheet software (Excel/Google Sheets) for tracking logs.
  • Inventory Expertise: Strong understanding of inventory control processes, specifically revision (REV) level tracking.
  • Problem-Solving: A persistent, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to chase down answers from internal and external partners.
  • Attention to Detail: High administrative accuracy and a refusal to let documentation errors slide.
