Overview
Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and caring Dietary Aide to join our residential rehabilitation team. In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming, home-like environment by preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for individuals receiving rehabilitation services.
The Dietary Aide is responsible for preparing and serving meals in accordance with planned menus, dietary needs, and food safety standards. This position works closely with the residential and clinical teams to ensure meals support each individual’s nutritional needs while providing an enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities
As a Cook with Rehab Without Walls you will:
- Prepare and cook meals for patients, including special diet requirements
- Ensure proper food preparation techniques in a sanitary and safe manner
- Prepare food quanitites based on daily menus and patient census
- Monitor and log food and equipment temperatures for safety compliance
- Serve meals and supports food service operations
- Receive, stock, and properly stores food deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food preparation areas
- Follow facility, departmental, and food safety policies and procedure
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and family information
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families and team members
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate Degree in Culinary Arts preferred
- Three years of cooking experience in healthcare, institutional or food service environment
Lincense/Certifications/Other Special Requirements
- Food safety certification preferred
