About The Role

The Licensed Life Insurance Service Specialist role offers a variety of responsibilities, and we are seeking someone who ‘gets’ customer service and is looking for a challenging role in a fun environment. This role offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with our customers (Life Insurance Advisors) and carriers (Life Insurance Companies) through seamless customer service and support. What You’ll Do

• Liaise between policyholder, advisors and insurance carriers
• Handle a variety of service inquiries throughout the lifecycle of a life insurance policy
• Maintain an understanding of the different Insurance Carriers’ inforce-related processes
• Exercise sound judgement when providing service support and advice
• Provide licensed service support to clients and connect them with a new insurance advisor
• Assist with project work

What You’ll Need for Success

• A positive attitude, the constant desire to help others, curiosity, and the ability to deliver consistently
• Clear written and oral communication skills
• Ability to identify and analyze problems and provide optimal solutions
• Previous life insurance industry experience
• Certified Life Insurance Agent (completion of LLQP). You will need to be licensed in BC, Alberta and Ontario at minimum (we will help with this).
• Practical experience with MS Office Suite and online meeting platforms 

The expected salary range for this position is $45,000 to $50,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
