The Global Services Category team is seeking a Business Strategic Planner and 4P Coordinator across the LCS, MDS, and MPS businesses, reporting to the VP of Services Global Category. In this role you will work side by side with the leader, direct staff and partner organizations to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness, strategic alignment and coordination of activities across the HPS Services Global Category team.
This role is right for you if you thrive in fast-paced environments that often require creative thinking. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, with a growth mindset and the resilience to work effectively in demanding situations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with executive presence and strong communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to the leader, providing perspective, challenging assumptions, anticipating issues, and helping translate leadership priorities into action.
- Translate strategy into execution, converting organizational priorities into clear initiatives, measurable outcomes, ownership, milestones, and follow-through.
- Drive the leadership team's operating rhythm, including staff meetings, business reviews, strategic planning, off-sites, goal/OKR tracking, and key decision forums. This aligns directly with the CoS and Business Planner models we found.
- Orchestrate cross-functional priorities and dependencies, connecting stakeholders across functions and organizations to drive alignment, remove barriers, and accelerate decisions.
- Drive accountability and follow-through, ensuring commitments have clear owners, milestones and measures, and proactively surfacing risks or gaps that require leadership intervention.
- Lead high-priority strategic initiatives (4P coordination) that span organizational boundaries, particularly ambiguous or complex issues without a natural single owner.
- Provide business insights that improve decision-making, bringing together financial, operational, customer and organizational perspectives and ensuring the right questions are being asked. The CoS charter specifically emphasizes data-driven leadership and measurable outcomes.
- Enable leadership alignment and effective communication, ensuring priorities, decisions and expectations flow clearly across the leadership team and broader organization.
- Partner across Finance, HR, Communications and other key functions on business planning, workforce priorities, organizational effectiveness, culture, budgeting and change initiatives.
- Extend the leader's capacity and effectiveness, proactively identifying organizational gaps, solving problems, representing the leader when appropriate, and ensuring leadership attention stays focused on the highest-value priorities. The existing CoS charter describes this as the "right hand," orchestrator, problem solver, and eyes and ears of the leader.
