Description
HSE Contractors has an immediate opening for a site safety Consultant in Washington (Certified CIH):
Requirements:
- Possessing at least a 4year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in:
- CIH certified by the Board of Certified
- Safety Professionals /American Board of Industrial
- Should have 30 Hours OSHA, FIRST aid CPR.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience
- Knowledgeable of current safety trends, industry practices
- Attend the Safety Program Review Meeting and Conduct the monthly Joint Safety Policy Meetings in accordance
- Shall have full authorization to correct unsafe acts on the spot, including the authority to stop work to correct safety and health problems.
- Shall participate in the planning, preparation and execution of high-risk activities including, but not limited to:
- May act as the qualified person for supervising erection and accepting final configuration and perform daily checks of fall protection, excavation, and scaffolding systems in accordance with the regulatory standards.
- Inspect the site with a government representative listing noted deficiencies, their abatement dates, and follow up action. The report shall
- shall be onsite no less than once per calendar month for one full working day.
