IT Asset Deployment and Recovery Officer | Full-Time | Brighton

We are recruiting for an IT Asset Deployment and Recovery Officer to join our on-site Assets team in Brighton.
This role is key to ensuring colleagues receive the equipment they need while maintaining accurate asset records throughout the lifecycle of our IT equipment. You'll play an important part in supporting asset deployment, returns, recovery activity and stock management, helping to improve compliance, reduce costs and deliver an excellent experience for our colleagues and volunteers.
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with Service Desk, Asset Engineers and wider Digital and IT teams, contributing to the effective management of thousands of IT assets across the organisation.

Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an organised and motivated individual to join our team as an IT Asset Deployment and Recovery Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the deployment, tracking, recovery and lifecycle management of IT equipment across the organisation, ensuring assets are accurately recorded, effectively managed and available when required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Experience maintaining accurate asset, deployment, recovery or stock records within an ITSM, ITAM, inventory, finance or stock management system.
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of accurate asset management, stock control and compliance processes.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to interpret, analyse and manipulate data.
- Experience using ITSM, ITAM, inventory or stock management systems to manage requests, returns, compliance activity and asset records.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track outstanding actions and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to support equipment deployment, recovery, stock movement and inventory management activities in a structured and efficient manner.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues, managers, suppliers and technical teams.
- Ability to follow agreed processes and procedures relating to purchasing, stock control, compliance and data quality.
- Experience producing documentation, procedures and supporting guidance material.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and identify opportunities to improve existing processes.
- Experience of Microsoft Intune, familiarity with ITIL processes or knowledge of ISO27001 standards would be advantageous.
