Summary
Director of Retail Operations
The Director of Retail Operations provides strategic leadership across multiple regions or business segments, responsible for translating enterprise strategy into execution while driving business growth, client outcomes, and organizational performance.
This role leads a team of senior leaders, owns P&L performance, client strategy, and cross-functional alignment, and uses data and insights to guide decision-making, shape long-term plans, and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
The Director is accountable for organizational capability, leadership development, and sustained growth, ensuring the business delivers both near-term results and long-term value.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree
- Experience Requirements: 8-10 years experience in relevant field
- Travel requirement: Up to 30% travel expected
Supervisor Responsibility
Direct Reports: Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources
Indirect Reports: May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically, requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
Field Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed in a retail in-store environment, which may include working in variable temperatures such as refrigerated areas, freezer sections and deli/bakery areas. The position typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each workday performing the following activities: Engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use consumer goods products, prepare, and serve food and beverages safely as appropriate for the product demonstration.
