Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities

 

• Developing the Nordic Supply Chain:  
  • Take ownership of the Nordic supply chain operational model and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service.
  • Ensure that improvements are translated into measurable results.
  • Use data and analysis to identify trends, root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Improving customer service and delivery reliability:  
  • Improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyse root causes behind service failures and lead corrective actions.
• Managing costs and improving transparency:
  • Take ownership of warehouse and transportation cost development.
  • Lead cost optimisation initiatives and ensure that savings are sustainable.
  • Lead contract negotiations, tenders and RFQ processes.
• Developing the team:
  • Lead, coach and develop a five-person supply chain and customer service team. 

Qualifications:

You are likely to succeed in this role if you have:

• Preferably Master’s of Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or similar and several years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Experience leading and developing people.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and transportation processes and cost structures.
• Experience with logistics contracts, negotiations, tenders or RFQs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes rather than simply solve individual operational issues.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across functions and countries.
• A structured and pragmatic approach to turning strategy into action. Readiness to handle day-to-day operations.
• Excellent communication skills in English. Other Nordic languages are considered an advantage.
