Team Overview

The Credit Risk Solutions Consulting team advises financial services clients on credit risk management practices and helps them use TransUnion data, analytics and solutions effectively throughout the credit lifecycle. The team partners with Sales, Analytics and Product to identify client needs, design relevant solutions and support successful commercial engagements.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior subject-matter expert for banking, retail, telecommunications and financial-sector clients on credit data and data-driven solutions across the credit customer lifecycle.
• Advise clients on credit risk management practices and help them use TransUnion data, analytics and solutions effectively.
• Facilitate consultative workshops and discovery sessions to identify client priorities, business challenges and solution gaps.
• Design solutions using available TransUnion data, analytics, products and capabilities to address clearly defined client needs.
• Develop compelling business cases, use cases and customized client journeys that demonstrate how TransUnion solutions can support business objectives.
• Conduct proactive analysis and additional discovery activities to strengthen the value proposition for client engagements.
• Partner with Sales during client engagement, solution positioning and deal-closure activities.
• Collaborate with Analytics and Product teams to support client commitments and contribute market insights, industry practices and voice-of-customer recommendations.
• Share subject-matter expertise across TransUnion and contribute ideas for innovation, product enhancement and emerging client needs.

Required Knowledge And Experiences

• University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience in credit risk management and demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a client-facing consulting environment.
• Experience across credit analytics, originations, underwriting, customer management and decisioning.
• Knowledge of market dynamics, relevant regulatory frameworks and financial-services industry practices in Mexico.
• Demonstrated ability to create clear and compelling communications for internal and external audiences across organizational levels.

Required Technical Skills

• Applied knowledge of credit bureau data, credit risk analytics and data-driven decisioning solutions.
• Ability to translate client requirements into solution designs, business cases, use cases and client journeys.
• Ability to analyze client information and communicate actionable business insights.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
