You Are:
As a Content Migration Developer, you will execute the technical development, testing, and deployment of automated migration scripts throughout the content delivery lifecycle.
The Work:
- Work under the guidance of the Content Migration Technical Lead
- Extracting, transforming, and ingesting legacy web content into a modernized Drupal CMS platform
- Building reusable, scalable scripts that analyze site structures, DOM patterns, and legacy content relationships across client-managed web properties
- Partners closely with cross‑functional teams—such as Business Analysts and functional leads—to translate content‑mapping specifications into automated feeds, ensuring large volumes of legacy content are migrated efficiently, accurately, and predictably
Here’s What You Need:
- 3 years of experience developing, refining, and executing scripts (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) to extract, scrape, and transform unstructured or semi‑structured web content and database records
- 3 years of experience with PHP (or experience with any Object Oriented Language), Scripting of any kind (Bash/Powershell, NodeJS, Python), Git, MySQL, and Agile Scrum Development
- 3 years of experience working in an Agile delivery model, including Jira for workflow management and Confluence for technical documentation
- 3 years of experience with AWS GovCloud and Data Migrations
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Additional experience automating large-scale content ingestion for enterprise CMS platforms
- Knowledge of structured content modeling and taxonomy design
- Familiarity with cloud-based DevOps tooling and secure hosting environments
- Experience analyzing legacy web property architectures to optimize extraction workflows
- Background supporting government or highly regulated environments
- Practical familiarity with Drupal CMS concepts, including content types, PHP, and automated feed modules (Drupal Feed/Migrate APIs)
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
$65,900—$120,000 USD
