Learning Partner

Description

The Learning Partner is responsible for partnering with business leaders to identify learning needs, design and deliver training solutions, and support capability development across operational and technical teams. This role will initially focus on Data Center Operations and is expected to evolve to support additional client groups such as Development & Construction, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and Information Technology (IT).

This role serves as a consultative partner to leaders and subject matter experts, helping translate business priorities, technical requirements, and compliance needs into effective learning strategies and programs. The Learning Partner will support onboarding, technical training, compliance-based learning, and ongoing skill development to improve employee performance and organizational readiness.

Requirements

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders across Data Center Operations and other technical functions to assess learning and capability needs
• Build strong relationships with managers and subject matter experts to understand business strategy, skill gaps, and evolving learning needs
• Design, develop, and maintain learning programs for technical and operational audiences
• Translate technical procedures, standards, and business processes into practical, effective training materials
• Support the development of onboarding and role-based learning paths; deliver onboarding and recurring training for employees in technical functions
• Create learning assets such as facilitator guides, presentations, job aids, e-learning modules, and assessments
• Support the design and delivery of leadership and management development programs for frontline supervisors, managers, and emerging leaders
• Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on learning experiences as needed
• Coordinate with internal subject matter experts and external vendors as appropriate
• In partnership with HR leadership, evaluate and oversee relationships with external learning vendors, consultants, and training providers
• Maintain training records and support learning administration through the organization’s LMS or other tracking tools
• Analyze learning data to evaluate outcomes and continuously improve programs
• Support departmental change initiatives through targeted learning and communication strategies that drive readiness and adoption
• Contribute to broader HR and talent development initiatives where appropriate

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience
• Certification: PHR or SHRM-CP Certification a plus
• Experience: Minimum 5 years + experience in Learning and Development, Training Instructional Design, or related role

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Experience supporting technical, operational, industrial, or infrastructure-oriented client groups
• Ability to autonomously lead design and delivery of learning programs and iterate based on client feedback
• Strong consulting, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear learning solutions
• Experience designing and delivering instructor-led and/or digital learning content
• Strong project management, consulting, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, or equivalent)
• Ability to create measurable learning objectives, assessments, and modular content
• Strong written and verbal presentation skills, comfortable facilitating remote sessions
• Experience using metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and drive improvements
