- Support withholding tax compliance, calculations, reporting, and documentation across relevant jurisdictions.
- Provide technical tax analysis and guidance to finance and business stakeholders on CIT, withholding tax, and related transfer pricing matters, including written memos, presentations, year-end activities, tax-sensitive accounting entries, and business initiatives.
- Support audits and controversy matters, including data gathering, liaising with cross-functional teams, preparing analyses, drafting responses to tax authority information requests, and supporting meetings with tax authorities and external advisers.
- Assess and communicate the impact of legislative and regulatory developments, international tax laws and regulations on Expedia Group’s business and structure.
- Identify opportunities to standardize, streamline and automate recurring tax calculations, compliance activities, and deliverables.
- Use and enhance tax technology tools (e.g., AI and agentic capabilities, Alteryx, Power BI/Tableau, Power Automate, SharePoint, and ERP/Oracle) to improve data quality, controls, compliance, and reporting.
- Support foreign tax provision reporting, including book-to-tax differences, return-to-provision true-ups, ASC 740 analysis, and related calculations.
- Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation and compliance requirements, including documentation (e.g., local file, master file), intercompany disclosure forms, CbCR-related support, and local TP forms as required.
- Support finance and business stakeholders and corporate initiatives with technical analysis, written memos, presentations, and operationalization

- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Additional postgraduate qualifications in tax or accounting are a plus.
- 5-8 years of experience in international tax, ideally gained through a combination of Big 4, large advisory, and/or in-house multinational roles.
- Experience in direct tax compliance, reporting, or controversy matters.
- Experience coordinating with external service providers and cross-functional teams across multiple jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a senior resource and informal leader for junior colleagues in a team setting, without formal people management responsibility.
- We welcome candidates with a direct tax background that are excited to broaden their capabilities across transfer pricing over time.
