- A recruiter calls you and reviews your CDL and driving record with you.
- Orientation, 2 days at most. Hotel paid, one-way bus ticket reimbursed, $300 for orientation once hired.
- 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor: backing, trip planning, logs and fueling. You are paid $650 a week.
- Your own assigned truck, about 1.5 years old on average, automatic or 10-speed.
Straight answers for new drivers
- "How often will I see home?" Every week, for your 34-hour reset.
- "Do I pay for orientation?" No. Hotel covered, bus ticket reimbursed, and $300 once you are hired.
- "Does my CDL school count?" If it was 120 hours or more, yes.
- "What if I have a problem on the road?" Loads are planned for you, and your driver leader picks up the phone.
