Your Day-to-Day
The Corporate Legal Junior Associate provides essential legal support to all business units within the Seven Retail group. This role primarily focuses on analytical tasks, offering legal consultations, and drafting various legal documents. The associate will be instrumental in ensuring legal compliance and operational efficiency across the organization.
- Provide timely legal consultation and advice to various business units on a range of operational matters.
- Draft and review diverse legal documents, including agreements, internal memorandums, formal letters, and settlement documents.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support decision-making and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation and management of legal contracts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their legal needs and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain organized records of all legal documents and correspondence..
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Law.
- 1-3 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm, with a focus on contract drafting and legal analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal information and provide clear, concise advice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in drafting legal documents.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and standard office software (e.g., Google Workspace/Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
