Job Summary

This entry-level position is responsible for providing support to the assigned teams and successfully progressing through on-the-job learning to move into the next level role of their chosen career path. The incumbent will work on meaningful assignments and projects in one or more of the following Technology areas to include, but not limited to: Engineering, Software Development, Quality Engineering & Testing, Systems Analysis, BA, Security Operations, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Process Automation, Machine Learning, AI, and more. You’ll work on challenging projects while growing your technical skills and progressing through your career at HCSC. You'll be part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues while engaging with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and deploy complex solutions. Experience with Java required and experience with Spring Boot a plus.

Responsibilities include:

• Work collaboratively and/or independently in teams with other specialized individuals in a fast-paced environment.
• Help test program code and applications in support of HCSC’s business goals.
• Work closely with team and with HCSC leaders in support of business needs.
• Participate in all project meetings and develop strong business relations through consistent and reliable work.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, passion for quality, client satisfaction and continuous learning.
• Seek opportunities to learn, demonstrate curiosity and stay up to date on emerging trends and new tools.
• Prepare business presentations and proposals as needed by Researching, validating and providing data.
• Analyze data and information responsibly.
• Follow risk management and compliance procedures.
• Support more experienced peers in the design and representation of data visualizations as required to support user stories.
• Help maintain existing technical documentation.
• Assist with data validation, cleansing, and troubleshooting.
• Comply with all HCSC employee policies, including hybrid in-office attendance policy.

 Required Job Qualifications:

* Bachelor Degree and 2 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 4 year Information Technology experience OR 6 years Information Technology experience.

* Experience in web technologies (HTML/CSS/Java/ASP.Net/PHP/Ruby/C#).
* Possess ability to sit and perform computer entry for entire work shift, as required.
* Possess ability to manage workload, manage mutliple priorities, and manage conflicts with customers/employees/managers, as applicable.
* Experience in traditional app languages ( COBOL / Perl / C+).
* Experience in scripting languages (BASH / PERL / PYTHON / RUBY).
* Experience in application / product feature design.
* Experience in integration technologies (Tibco/Informatica/CAS).
* Experience in mobile technologies (HP Anywhere / iOS / Android / Java / HTML5).
* Experience in service oriented architecture (SOA).
*  Experience in cloud computing technologies (SaaS / IaaS / PaaS).
* Experience in application configuration.
* Rapid prototyping.
* SDLC Methodology (Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development).
* System performance management.
* Systems change / configuration management.
* Business requirements management.
* Problem solving /analytical thinking.
* Creative thinking.
* Ability to execute.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

 

* Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

* Experience with Spring Boot a plus

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

This position may be performed remotely from anywhere within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Base Pay Range

$76,600.00 - $138,500.00
