Your Role

As Barista, you’ll be the friendly face of our coffee service and restaurant experience. You’ll craft high-quality beverages, provide outstanding guest service, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. This role is ideal for someone who brings Social Intelligence to every interaction, works Stronger Together with the team, and delivers service with Integrity.

What You’ll Do

• Create and serve coffee beverages to guests using standard recipes and accommodating special requests
• Greet guests with a friendly, professional demeanor and anticipate their needs to enhance their experience
• Present menus, answer questions, and make thoughtful suggestions regarding food and beverage options
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries or concerns, ensuring satisfaction at every interaction
• Input orders into the POS system accurately and efficiently
• Serve food and beverages from the kitchen or bar, ensuring correct presentation
• Clear and reset tables and counters promptly, maintaining cleanliness and organization
• Assist with dishwashing and general cleaning tasks as needed
• Maintain proper storage and rotation of perishable items and coffee supplies
• Support coworkers and promote teamwork to ensure smooth operations
• Uphold Resolute Road Hospitality’s brand standards for safety, cleanliness, and service
• Follow all company policies and procedures and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, EEOC, and health codes
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food service regulations and coffee preparation techniques preferred
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills with a positive, solutions focused mindset
• Proficiency in English required; ability to speak other languages is a plus

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous barista or food service experience preferred but not required

Licenses & Certifications

• Food Handler’s Card
• TIPS or equivalent certification
