Data Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data transformation pipelines on cloud platforms. You will develop dimensional models, implement reliable ELT workflows, and create analytics-ready datasets and Power BI dashboards to support business intelligence initiatives.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Build, debug, and optimize transformation pipelines using dbt and ELT frameworks on cloud data warehouse platforms
• Design dimensional models and analytics-ready datasets that support scalable reporting and analytics
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and semantic models using DAX
• Implement reliable data transformations and investigate complex data quality issues independently
• Translate business requirements into technical data solutions and manage assigned deliverables
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure solution alignment
• Perform data modeling best practices including dimensional modeling and schema optimization

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional data engineering or analytics engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in SQL and dbt for building data transformation pipelines
• Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar)
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse design principles
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards and DAX calculations
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage deliverables, and troubleshoot complex data issues
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
