Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Neurologist at Harry S Truman Memorial Veteran's Hospital (HSTVAMC) in Columbia, MO.
Details:
- Full-time position
- Monday - Friday 0730 - 1630
- On-call required
- Freedom from Malpractice Insurance Worries
- Outpatient environment with consultation for inpatient services and stroke coverage when on-call
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of neurologic clinical experience required
- BLS required
- Board certification or Board eligible through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or Americal Osteopathic Board of Neurolofy and Psychiatry.
- Current, full Unrestricted Medical License to practice in any of the 50 states, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the DIstrict of Columbia.
Responsibilities:
- Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and disorders of the nervous system.
- Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems as they occur.
- Capable of performing lumbar punctures, interpreting nerve conduction studies and electromyography.
- Perform evoked potentials and electroencephalograms.
- Capable of providing chemo denervation (such as botulinum toxin injections) for common neurological conditions.
