Commercial Lines Claims Manager

A growing commercial P&C agency is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Claims Manager to lead a small team and serve as the internal point person for complex claims advocacy. This role is focused on large commercial accounts and on stepping in when claims become high-impact, sensitive, or difficult to navigate.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2 team members, including a client resource coordinator and a risk management/OSHA support specialist
• Act as the agency’s internal advocate on complex claims with carriers
• Step in on large-loss, high-dollar, or sensitive claims situations
• Coordinate communication between clients, carriers, and internal team members
• Help guide claims-related workflow and issue resolution
• Support clients through difficult claims outcomes while protecting service quality

Qualifications

• Strong experience in commercial lines claims or claims administration
• Background in large commercial P&C preferred
• Ability to understand coverage and claims handling at a practical level
• Leadership experience or the ability to grow into a leadership role
• Experience with agency service or claims support is helpful
• Familiarity with contractor, manufacturing, auto dealership, or trucking accounts is a plus
• Epic or Applied experience is helpful

Work Environment

• Remote candidates may be considered
• Core hours are Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. CST, and Friday, 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. CST
• Wisconsin-based candidates may also be placed in one of several offices if needed

Compensation

• Salary up to $96K
