a Metrologist in the Mechanical Lab, you will support product development
projects by performing precise geometrical measurements and evaluating material
parameters for components and finished products. You will operate advanced
coordinate measuring machines and optical 3D measurement systems, ensure the
reliability of measurement equipment, and collaborate closely with development
engineers and international metrology teams to deliver accurate and
high-quality measurement solutions. Key responsibilities in your new role: Support of product development projects by geometrical measurements and determination of relevant material parameters of components and finished products Operating of coordinate measuring machines and optical 3D measuring systems Monitoring and maintenance of measuring machines Communication with development engineers from different sites Close cooperation with metrologists from our mechanical lab in Warstein Your profile You
combine strong analytical thinking with a high level of precision and a passion
for measurement technology. Thanks to your structured and quality-focused
approach, you ensure reliable measurement results and support development
projects with confidence. You enjoy collaborating with engineers and metrology
experts across different locations, communicate effectively in an international
environment, and contribute to successful outcomes through teamwork, technical
expertise, and continuous improvement. Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Educational background in
mechanical engineering or sciences Experience in programming and
operating coordinate measuring machines and optical 3D measuring systems Experience in dealing with
relevant standards (e.g., ISO 5459:2024) Experience in determination of
measuring uncertainties / determination of suitability of measuring processes
according to MSA (GR & R) Successful participation in
AUKOM training or a comparable training for production measurement technology Thorough knowledge of English
