Your Impact
- As a Director, Release Train Product Management working within the Scaled Agile Framework, you are responsible for turning vision into reality by managing the program backlog, prioritizing features, and collaborating with Solution Product Management to deliver solutions that align with business goals with the shortest lead time.
- Execution Strategy: Responsible for the Program Backlog, working with Solution Product Management, the System Architect, and the Release Train Engineer to prioritize the backlog to maximize the delivery of value over time.
- Feature Definition: Responsible for turning product vision into concrete deliverable features. Working with the Product Owner team to refine backlog items into items of incremental value delivery.
- Team Leadership: Leading and growing a team of Product Owners. You will be responsible for hiring, coaching, and retaining top talent, and for ensuring that the team is continuously improving.
- PI Planning Leadership: Collaborate with Business Owners, Product Owners, Architects, and ART leadership to define and communicate Program Increment (PI) objectives, establish feature priorities, and ensure alignment of the Agile Release Train to strategic outcomes.
- Lean Portfolio Alignment: Apply Lean economics, including WSJF and value-based prioritization techniques, to optimize sequencing and maximize outcomes.
What You'll Need
- 10+ years of progressive product-centric software development leadership, including a demonstrated record of success delivering value with quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with preference to Chemical Engineering. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience in process engineering and optimization will be extremely important including real life user experience of AspenTech Performance Engineering products such Aspen HYSYS and Aspen Plus.
- Experience in communicating product vision and road maps to the development teams.
- Experience leading Agile development teams, working within the SAFe® framework
- Proven ability to analyze reports, dashboards, and other tools to make critical decisions and recommendations to help the company to achieve its goals. Strong analytical skills.
