The Business Readiness and Communications (BRC) team is part of the CoBEES team. The BRC team works with stakeholders throughout CBMS to identify planned changes to the system and organization, assess the impact that these changes will have on CBMS stakeholders and end-users, and design and implement change management activities to ensure that CBMS stakeholders are able to effectively prepare for and adjust to changes in the CBMS system
This position supports the development and delivery of Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS) navigational documentation, online help articles, and change management support to the counties. This position creates clear, concise, and helpful documentation from the technical project lifecycle documentation for counties and eligibility sites. This role also assists with the development, continual improvement, and maintenance of CBMS Online Help (OLH) documentation.
Primary Job Duties:
Online Help (OLH) System Development and Maintenance - Write new, high-quality CBMS Online Help (OLH) articles and update current articles, based on CBMS project requirements. Interact with program areas, CBMS end users, and vendors to capture project project information to create OLH articles. Publish new or updated OLH articles to CBMS production and test environments. Review, edit, and proofread content for OLH articles. Utilize HyperText Markup Language (HTML) conversion tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
Years of Experience:
Six (6) years of relevant experience in technical writing, systems documentation, change management, systems implementation, business analysis, content management, or a related field, preferably including working in Agile and Waterfall environments. Two (2) years of the experience must include working in CBMS and/or PEAK.
OR
Education and Experience:
A combination of related education and experience equal to six (6) years, in technical writing, systems documentation, change management, systems implementation, business analysis, content management, or a related field, preferably including working in Agile and Waterfall environments. Two (2) years of the experience must include working in BMS and/or PEAK.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate, in writing, complicated technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience developing online help, user guides, job aids, or knowledge-base content for complex enterprise applications.
- Experience with change management and software implementation, including user readiness and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Confluence, HTML, Dreamweaver, or similar technical documentation and content-management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others.
- Proven ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to manage workload, identify priorities, and pivot as necessary.
- Detail oriented.
Conditions of Employment:
This position requires State of Colorado residency at the time of application (unless otherwise identified in the posting), and residency within the state throughout the duration of employment in this position.

CDHS Selection Process Explanation
Employment history is calculated on a full-time basis (40/hrs per week). Part-time employment is calculated on a prorated basis to determine qualifications.
