We are looking for a Procurement Supervisor Seasonings & Ingredients who will be responsible for supporting the Ingredients, Nutrition and Seasonings Category Leads in the execution of long term and short term local categories sourcing strategies to deliver business performance through the usage of relevant resources and network using GP processes and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develops category strategy over a multi-year horizon for Ingredients & Seasonings that are local under the supervision of manager and ensures delivery of AOP targets including pep+ agenda
- Input EU strategy with specifics of Region under scope and executes categories strategies in Turkey, tenders, contracts that creates competitive advantage for the business
- Links local category strategies to global strategies to meet GP financial KPI’s
- Builds local networks and teams to ensure local category strategies meet local needs and drive executional excellence
- Develops appropriate supplier base and also builds leverage either from global suppliers working along the COE for related categories, or from other sector MSO category teams
- Ensures that local category strategies are developed using GP best practices, processes and GP policies and GCS s.
- Lead monthly VE project reviews with R&D Region Leads (Discussion of development updates, blockages/risks, timeline updates, gate inputs, etc.) for in-plan and pipeline.
- Lead supplier VA process w/ SQA Material Class Owners.
- Delivers productivity (yoy category productivity, 5-6% of both Compressible & Value Engineering) and cash flow targets to ensure business plans are met. Create solutions to minimize obselescens.
- Supports MSO Category Lead in the execution of legal Swissco contracts.
- Assures supply and quality for local and or Sector/global suppliers
- Manages change management processes that are required to deliver productivity targets or support market innovation.
- Delivers comprehensive category risk management program (mitigate financial risk, manage supply risk and protect brands)
- Supports and lead and/or executes BCP process in close cooperation with central R&D/QA/SQA to create competition and ensure sustainable growth.
- Issues business awards to suppliers & leads price list updates for regions under scope
Works closely with Sector stakeholders and MSO to :
- Understand Region dynamics & functional needs (macroeconomic, business needs) for strategy development to ensure maximum business value. Provide market intelligence for main commodities.
- Develop & share best practices to build synergies w/ GP Cat Leads and MU PM s.
- Ensure full business alignment and resource allocation to deliver strategy
- As process or control owner the role is responsible to ensure that all Key Controls under his/her responsibility based on the
GPE Accountability Matrix (e.g. supplier selection, contract approval, rebates reconciliation, etc.) are in line with GPE Policies & procedures and the GCS framework. In order to achieve this target, processes and internal controls must be reviewed and assessed periodically (at least annually). Additionally, in coordination with GPE Control the Process Executive, he/she will test each Key Control to validate controls effectiveness at least once a year.
- Set correct pricing, supplier allocation communication in place for Supply chain.
- Represent GP for IS&OP, CA, Monthly project meetings, RA s and/or lialise with CS&L
