Inside Sales Representative

As an Inside Sales Support Representative, you will engage with our residential customers and provide an excellent consumer experience. Your goal will be to assist the Residential Acquisition Representatives with their day-to-day by following up with customers to gain new business. Your success will be evident by your ability to work closely with operations and our Residential Coordinator to ensure service has been scheduled and deliveries are booked while ensuring all details have been captured within the pipeline logs.

Your Responsibilities:   

•  Manage pipeline logs until activation by ensuring service is booked and completed, following up with customers and updating pipeline logs with information from customers and operations
• Contacting potential leads through web inquiries and incoming calls
• Manage call lists when required including inactive accounts for win-back initiatives or execution of business strategies
• Articulate the Irving Energy value proposition, handle objections and obtain new customers
• Understand and execute on key special pricing/marketing programs
• Manage the use of empowerment appropriately and escalate when required
• Work with the team to manage service escalations with regards to date availability 
• Respond to customer inquiries

Your Skills:   

• Excellent customer service skills
• Proven ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Ability to work well in a team environment and be a reliable team player
• Able to make decisions and support team members
• Must possess strong communication skills with ability to quickly build rapport and maintain relationships

Your Experience:   

• Post-secondary education preferred
• 1-3 years' experience in sales or marketing and customer service required
• Experience in a call center environment preferred 

The expected salary range for this position is $37,440 - $44,928. Placement within range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.
