Help Shape the Future of Compassion Alumni Across Asia
For many years, Compassion International and our Frontline Church Partners (FCP) have invested in the lives of children and young people across Asia. Today, thousands of Compassion alumni are serving in their churches, leading in their communities, building careers, raising families, and influencing the next generation.
We believe these alumni are more than graduates of a program. They are living stories of transformation and valuable partners in the ongoing mission of releasing children from poverty in Jesus' name.
To help unlock this potential, we are looking for a Regional Alumni Engagement & Mobilization Consultant to support the development of strong, sustainable Alumni Networks across Asia.
This is a unique opportunity to help build something meaningful from the ground up while empowering alumni to connect, lead, serve, and create lasting impact in their communities.
About the Role
Working closely with Compassion's Asia Regional Office, National Offices, church partners, and alumni leaders, the consultant will help establish and strengthen alumni networks at both national and regional levels.
Key responsibilities include:
Mapping and engaging Compassion alumni across selected countries in Asia
Facilitating alumni consultations, forums, and leadership discussions
Supporting the development of governance structures, leadership teams, and operating frameworks
Helping alumni leaders create practical strategies and action plans for their networks
Designing and facilitating leadership development and capacity-building opportunities
Strengthening collaboration and knowledge-sharing among alumni across different countries
Developing tools, resources, and guidance materials to support long-term sustainability
Supporting the transition toward alumni-led networks that can thrive independently over time
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is passionate about people, leadership, and community transformation.
The ideal candidate will bring:
Experience in community mobilization, network development, alumni engagement, movement building, or related fields
Strong facilitation, coaching, and relationship-building skills
Experience working with diverse stakeholders and leading initiatives across multiple cultures or countries
The ability to think strategically while also driving execution
Strong communication and project management capabilities
A genuine passion for seeing young people, churches, and communities flourish
Experience in faith-based organizations, nonprofits, church ministries, or community development initiatives would be highly valued.
Engagement Details
Type of Engagement: Independent Consultant
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Remote within Asia, with occasional travel as needed
Reporting To: Director of Program Operations, Asia Region
Why This Opportunity Matters
Across Asia, Compassion alumni have incredible potential to continue influencing their families, churches, workplaces, and communities long after they leave the program.
By helping establish and strengthen alumni networks, you will play a key role in building a movement of servant leaders, mentors, advocates, and changemakers who can continue extending Compassion's mission for years to come.
If you are passionate about leadership development, community impact, and seeing lives transformed through the local church, we would love to hear from you.
