The team leads innovative design efforts focused on toddler, infant, and newborn apparel, combining expertise in visual communication, trend forecasting, and product development. Collaborating cross-functionally, the team ensures cohesive brand expression and operational excellence throughout the design process. What you'll do:
- Lead the development and execution of seasonal fashion design concepts, ensuring alignment with brand identity and market trends.
- Oversee creation of detailed sketches, illustrations, and prototypes to guide product development and maintain quality standards.
- Integrate customer insights, trend forecasting, and competitive analysis to inform design strategies and assortment planning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize design workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure timely delivery of collections.
- Drive innovation in materials, fit, and color theory to enhance product appeal and maintain cost-effectiveness.
- Mentor design teams, promote operational rigor, and uphold brand consistency across all categories and channels.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive expertise in fashion design principles, including visual communication, sketching, illustration, and fit concepts.
- Strong knowledge of color theory, print execution, fabric selection, and prototype development.
- Proven ability to lead seasonal design workflows, optimize product development timelines, and integrate cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with design enablement tools such as PLM, CAD, 3D modeling, and AI-enhanced systems.
- Experience applying market and cultural trend insights to create trend-right assortments aligned with brand strategy.
- Skilled in brand management, maintaining aesthetic cohesion and elevating product quality within commercial positioning.
- Ability to leverage customer insights and data analytics to refine design intent and enhance product relevance.

The annual salary range for this position is $156,000.00 - $312,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, textile design, or related area and 8 years’ experience in apparel design, garment construction, or related area.Option 2: 10 years’ experience in apparel design, garment construction, or related area.
5 years’ supervisory experience.
