Role Overview

The RTW Cost & Timing Specialist will join the RTW Business Unit, based in Novara, supporting the team in ensuring accurate cost management and profitability throughout the collection development process.

The position works closely with Product Development, Merchandising, Production and Purchasing teams to ensure cost targets are achieved and maintained throughout the development process.

This is a 6-month fixed-term maternity cover contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the calculation and analysis of sampling and production costs for each style, ensuring all relevant cost components are consistently updated in the system.
• Partner with the Product and Merchandising teams to monitor style margins and recommend corrective actions in case of deviations from target costs.
• Partner with Product and Production to negotiate prices with suppliers and secure margin objectives.
• Support the preparation of regular reports and analyses on costs and profit margins, ensuring accurate and timely performance tracking.
• Oversee cost trends throughout the collection development process, ensuring alignment with the established budget

Your Talent

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the fashion and apparel industry.
• Solid understanding of costing processes and production/sampling dynamics specific to RTW collections.
• Proficiency in Excel (including vlookup, pivot tables, and advanced formulas) as well as key cost analysis tools.
• Proven experience in partnering with Product and Production for negotiations with suppliers and budget management.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a results-driven approach.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Salary Range: € 35.000 - € 40.000 Gross Annual Salary (RAL).
