We are looking for an individual with great attention to detail and focuses on assisting internal and external clients regarding IRA's.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN IRA SPECIALIST
- Manage the administration of Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), including contributions, distributions, rollovers, Roth conversions, beneficiary maintenance, and Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs).
- Ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance by processing withholding elections, preparing IRS Forms 1099-R and 5498, and supporting tax-related IRA transactions.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on IRA regulations and provide guidance and support to Wealth Management, Family Office, and client service teams.
- Administer charitable and trust-related transactions, including Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs), private foundation distributions, and charitable trust calculations.
- Maintain accurate account records, documentation, and forms while supporting account opening reviews, authorized individual updates, and unique asset monitoring.
- Produce and review operational reports, monitor regulatory compliance, and identify and resolve issues to ensure adherence to internal policies and industry requirements.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field preferred
- 3-6 years' experience in the financial services industry preferred
- Detail oriented with a high sensitivity to accuracy
This position requires excellent attention to detail, prioritizing accuracy and conscientiousness, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time hybrid position working Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
