[What the role is]
ENGINEER, KPE/MCE MANAGEMENT[What you will be working on]
Play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operations of Singapore’s road tunnels. You will be part of a team to oversee the integration of operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems — from project planning and design review through to site supervision, installation, testing and commissioning. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders on interfacing design and manage contractors and system vendors throughout project development to ensure timely and successful system commissioning.
Your key responsibilities include:
Engage stakeholders to gather, define, and translate business requirements into workable technical solutions.
Lead or participate in the design and review of integration solutions between various systems, applications, and databases using APIs, middleware, and other relevant technologies.
Identify potential integration risks, assess their implications, and recommend mitigating measures to minimise operational impact to support smooth and timely project delivery.
Identify key business processes for improvement to achieve greater efficacy and better support tunnel operations.
[What we are looking for]
Knowledge in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Good understanding of Industrial Control Systems (ICS), SCADA systems, OT communication protocols (e.g. Modbus or Profinet) and middleware or integration platforms that bridge OT and IT environments.
Working knowledge of OT cybersecurity principles, risks, controls, and industry best practices to ICS will be an advantage.
Experience with data analytics tools such as Python, Snowflake, or Tableau will be an advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, with a strong sense of ownership and analytical thinking.
