The Center for Disability Services offers hope, innovation and achievement to the people we support. For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.
The Center for Disability Services is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist for our Glenville Clover Patch; this is a preschool setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provides quality speech-language pathology therapy services
- Assesses current level of function
- Develops and implement an appropriate treatment plan
- Maintains complete and accurate clinical documentation
- Reviews and cosigns documentation completed by Clinical Fellows and students as assigned
- Communicates with physicians, IDT members, caregivers, and vendors, and specific to Education Speech-Language Pathologists with school districts, and county service providers
- Evaluates treatment outcomes and modifies treatment plans as needed
- Maintains clinical and professional knowledge base
- Writes necessary scripts and communicates diagnoses with physicians/medical professionals
- Complies with Federal, State, and local legal and professional requirements
- Supervises assigned Clinical Fellow candidates and/or student interns
- Maintains all continuing education requirements for licensure
Requirements:
- Graduate degree (Masters) in field of Speech-Language Pathology
- New York State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- NYS Teaching Certification as a TSHH (Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped) or TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities)
- American Speech-Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence is required for all who supervise student interns and Clinical Fellowship candidates
Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Compensation Range:
$74,531.93 - $81,700.50Benefits:
