About the Role:
The Product Owner III, Data & Analytics is responsible for maximizing the value of the Bank's underwriting platforms through data strategy, analytics, reporting, and business insight generation. This role serves as the product owner for platform data and reporting capabilities, partnering with business, operations, technology, data, and executive stakeholders to transform underwriting and operational data into actionable insights that improve decision-making, increase efficiency, identify automation opportunities, and support strategic initiatives.
- Identifies, assesses, and drives opportunities to simplify complex or fragmented processes across teams, systems, and lines of business.
- Develops, maintains, and evolves product roadmaps focused on efficiency, automation, accuracy, and improved user experiences.
- Uses data, metrics, and process intelligence to evaluate performance and measure the impact of delivered enhancements.
- Builds and maintains operational reports, dashboards, and self-service reporting tools that provide visibility into platform performance and key business metrics.
- Partners with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and improve dashboard usability, data quality, metric definitions, and adoption.
- Translates business needs, data insights, and process gaps into product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs.
- Evaluates regulatory changes, risk considerations, and Bank initiatives and incorporates them into product planning and delivery.
- Acts as a connector across frontline teams, operations, compliance, risk, technology, and vendors to align priorities and deliver integrated solutions.
- Partners with delivery teams to support release planning, change management, communications, training, and adoption efforts.
- Promotes continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and data-driven decision making.
- Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations applicable to assigned responsibilities and maintains awareness of regulatory changes.
- Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes required annual and job-specific training.
- Maintains working knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other applicable regulations.
- May be asked to coach, mentor, train others, or serve as a subject matter expert.
- Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters Columbia's corporate culture in all actions and words.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
About You:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Technology, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- 7+ years of combined experience in product management, business analysis, banking operations, analytics, reporting, data management, technology, or related fields. (Required)
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce and/or nCino platforms. (Required)
- Experience supporting AI-enabled analytics and decision-support solutions. (Preferred)
- Experience with process mining, process optimization, and workflow analytics. (Preferred)
- Experience working within complex, regulated environments with cross-functional stakeholders. (Required)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Experience developing executive dashboards, operational reporting, and business intelligence solutions.
- Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent analytics platforms.
- Ability to leverage data to inform decisions, prioritize work, and evaluate outcomes.
- Deep understanding of data governance, reporting design, performance metrics, and business intelligence concepts.
- Knowledge of banking operations, underwriting workflows, and regulatory considerations impacting lending products.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present recommendations to executive leadership.
- Ability to translate complex findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of user adoption measurement, change management, and organizational transformation.
- Experience identifying and quantifying business value, operational efficiency, and return-on-investment opportunities.
- Background in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement.

The pay range for this role is $110,000.00 - $140,000.00.
The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
