Position Summary
The Epilepsy Neurologist is a key member of the Neuroscience service line, providing specialized care for patients with seizure disorders and epilepsy syndromes. This physician delivers expert outpatient evaluation and management, with opportunities to shape clinical protocols, participate in multidisciplinary case reviews, and collaborate with epilepsy monitoring and surgical teams.The role supports the diagnosis and longitudinal care of individuals with epilepsy and seizure disorders, incorporating advanced neurodiagnostics, medication management, and coordination with epilepsy surgery and behavioral health services as needed. This position offers flexibility to incorporate teaching, telemedicine, or subspecialty research in a supportive and collegial setting. Responsibilities • Evaluate and manage patients with epilepsy and seizure-related conditions • Interpret and utilize neurodiagnostic tools including EEG, MRI, CT, and ambulatory monitoring • Provide medication management and discuss advanced treatment options including surgical evaluation, VNS/RNS, and dietary therapies • Collaborate with epilepsy monitoring unit (EMU) and neurosurgical teams for complex cases • Educate patients and families on seizure safety, triggers, lifestyle adjustments, and medication adherence • Refer patients to appropriate behavioral health, genetics, and subspecialty consultations • Maintain accurate medical records and regulatory compliance • Participate in case conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and team meetings Requirements • Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution • Completion of neurology residency and epilepsy or clinical neurophysiology fellowship • Board certified or board eligible in Neurology and Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Washington State by employment start date • DEA registration, NPI, and prescriptive authority • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $332,400.00 - $332,400.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
