Job Title: Physician Laborist
Location: Renton, Washington
Position Type: Perm
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Laborist Physician to join our obstetrics team in Renton, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys a flexible schedule and is passionate about delivering high-quality care in a hospital-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient obstetric care, including management of labor and delivery
- Handle emergent OB situations and triage patients
- Perform deliveries (vaginal and cesarean) and related procedures
- Collaborate with OB/GYNs, midwives, and nursing staff
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely communication
Requirements:
- MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active or eligible Washington State medical license
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in obstetrics preferred
- Comfortable managing both low- and high-risk deliveries
- Strong teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills
