Junior Outsystems Developer

The Junior OutSystems Developer designs, develops, and implements applications on the OutSystems platform. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including Business Analysts, front-end/back-end developers, and QA—this role translates business requirements into high-quality web and mobile solutions, ensuring software quality through testing, collaboration, and ongoing maintenance. The overall impact is delivering reliable, well-integrated applications that meet business needs while continuously improving development practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement applications using the OutSystems platform.
2. Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
3. Work with front-end and back-end developers to integrate solutions.
4. Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure software quality.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
6. Work closely with QA teams to ensure proper testing and validation of applications.
7. Maintain documentation for system procedures and technical specifications.
8. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest OutSystems features and best practices.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Proven experience as an OutSystems Developer or similar role.
3. Strong proficiency in OutSystems development, including building web and mobile applications.
4. Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
5. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
6. Familiarity with responsive design principles.
7. Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
8. Experience with relational databases and SQL.
9. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
10. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
12. With OutSystems certification(s) (e.g., OutSystems Associate Web Developer, OutSystems Professional Developer) is an advantage.
