Project Controls Analyst, Mid

The Opportunity:

Maintain responsibility for a wide variety of detailed financial and administrative activities for moderate-to-large sized programs and organizations. Perform detailed financial and program control activities, including invoicing reporting, estimating, and analysis for full contract life cycle support. Authorize budget expenditures and provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed for the company. Assist in monitor expenses, perform cost and schedule variance analysis, and provide resulting recommendations. Respond to contract and program data calls. Prepare detailed financial program management reviews and provide a status of key performance metrics for the company. Anticipate and respond to customer needs, serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding invoices.

You Have: 

• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including using formulas and functions in calculation and analysis
• Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and financial issues independently and as part of a team, set priorities that balance service and control, and manage and track multiple initiatives
• Ability to be a team player, work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing requirements
• Ability to conduct trend analysis
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience with financial management or in a financial program control environment, Associate's degree and 4+ years of experience with financial management or in a financial program control environment, or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with financial management or in a financial program control environment

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience with FEDSIM/GSA/AAS or government financial contract management
• Ability to identify program risks, assist with associated mitigation plans, and assist with identifying and prioritizing requirements
• Ability to collect and analyze data from multiple sources, summarize it, and read and interpret contractual requirements appropriately
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
• Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
