Role summary:
The Manager, Facility Services, leads the maintenance and operational functions of facility systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power. This role oversees project execution, sustainability initiatives, and compliance with industry regulations while managing budgets, vendor relationships, and workforce planning. The position drives continuous improvement by evaluating equipment needs, optimizing energy efficiency, and ensuring timely completion of maintenance programs. The manager fosters a collaborative environment, supports associate development, and aligns facility operations with organizational goals to maintain safe, efficient, and cost-effective facilities that support business growth and operational excellence.
About the team:
The Facility Services team is dedicated to maintaining clean, safe, and well-functioning environments by managing exterior cleaning, equipment maintenance, and timely task completion. Leveraging technology and resources, the team ensures alignment with safety and quality standards while supporting business priorities. Effective communication and coordination enhance the experience for all visitors. This team plays a crucial role in operational excellence by upholding facility standards that serve associates and customers, reflecting Walmart’s commitment to reliability and high-quality service.
What you'll do:

• Direct and oversee HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power maintenance operations to ensure facility efficiency and compliance.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and standard operating procedures to optimize system performance.
• Manage project priorities, workforce planning, and contractor performance while ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
• Lead sustainability initiatives aligned with regulatory requirements and monitor energy reduction strategies.
• Prepare and approve budgets, evaluate expenditures, and manage vendor contracts and invoices.
• Provide supervision, training, and development opportunities to build a high-performing team.
• Ensure compliance with industry laws and company policies while fostering a culture of integrity and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience managing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power maintenance operations.
• Strong ability to evaluate facility needs, equipment efficiency, and energy reduction strategies.
• Expertise in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs and standard operating procedures.
• Demonstrated skills in project management, including prioritizing work, supervising teams, and ensuring timely completion.
• Experience managing budgets, approving expenditures, and analyzing cost trends.
• Knowledge of compliance with federal, state, and local industry laws and regulations.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop associates while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...
