Position Description: Silver Plating

The Silver-Plating Operator at LayerZero Power Systems, Inc will be responsible for loading and running the blaster to clean, finish, and prepare the surface of manufactured parts for preparation of paint application. This role requires the monitoring and operation of equipment and facilities while ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures. The operator must always maintain safety standards and initiate and follow emergency procedures when necessary. LayerZero Power Systems Inc is looking for an ambitious, organized, detail-oriented worker to join our team.

Requirements

Primary Duties:

· Prepare metal parts for silver plating

· Apply silver plating or perform touch-ups

· Inspect finished parts for quality and perform quality checks as directed

· Operate and maintain plating equipment

· Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces

· Read and interpret technical documents

· Document work and report issues

· Trouble shooting

· Possess hand dexterity and install small hardware

· Maintain a clean and organized work area

· Collaborating with team members

· Steadiness and stamina: standing for long periods, bending, reaching etc.

Experience & Skills:

· Knowledge of tools and equipment required for bead blasting

· Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes

· Finishing in a manufacturing environment or transferable manufacturing experience

· Experience reading assembly drawings and follow directions/specifications

· Experience handling intricate parts

· Experience maintaining 5S in the work area

Education:

· High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred.
