CDL-A Regional Driver - $850/Week Paid Training - Huntington Area

Tri-State drivers, here is the complete pay picture for a regional dry van fleet hiring new and experienced Class A drivers around Huntington.

Training Pay

• $850 per Week: Paid every week you train with an experienced driver
• 4 to 6 Weeks: Real loads on real routes
• Then Solo: Full mileage pay right after you finish

Solo Pay

• Average Weekly: $1,200 to $1,400
• Guarantee: $1,000 per week for 3 months after your first solo dispatch
• CPM: Starts at $0.55, adds $0.01 for each extra year of experience, max $0.65
• Miles: Around 2,500 a week
• Stops: $15 each
• Bonus: Monthly performance plan

Where and When

• Home: Every 2 weeks
• Lanes: Up and down the eastern seaboard, not far west
• Freight: Dry van: drop and hook, live load, live unload
• Hiring Radius: Within 200 miles of Columbus, OH

Beyond the Money

After your first 30 days you are covered for medical, dental, and vision. You also get a matched 401k, paid time off, and $300 for attending orientation, with the travel paid for. Drivers with experience can bring a pet or rider along right away. New drivers can do the same once training is behind them.

Basic Qualifications

• Hold a Class A CDL and be 21 or over
• New to the road? Show 120 plus hours from an accredited driving school
• Already driving? Show 6 OTR months in the last 12, or 12 OTR months within 5 years
• Keep it to 2 or fewer moving violations in 2 years with no major preventable accident in 5
• No DUI or DWI during the past 5 to 10 years
• Clear a DOT exam plus hair and urine drug tests
