## The group you’ll be a part of
You will be part of the Operations and Quality team within Lam’s Clean Product Line, based at our Villach, Austria site. The team plays a key role in enabling operational excellence, quality performance, and effective management systems across the local organization while connecting closely with Lam’s global network of functions and sites.
## The impact you’ll make
As Compliance & Accountability Program Manager, you will drive the accountability framework for Lam’s Villach site and help translate corporate strategies, guidelines, and annual objectives into an effective multi-level, cross-functional operating system.
You will ensure alignment of site-level goals, coordinate performance tracking, and enable structured accountability reviews such as Quarterly Operations Reviews. In addition, you will support compliance with ISO 9001 requirements, Lam corporate policies, and global business processes across the Villach site.
In this role, you will act as a central point of contact for compliance, audit readiness, and management-system effectiveness. You will work closely with local stakeholders, global compliance teams, and key Lam sites around the world to strengthen operational discipline, support continuous improvement, and drive sustainable business performance.
## What you’ll do
- Act as the local compliance lead for the Villach site, with focus on ISO 9001 requirements, Lam corporate policies, and global business processes.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Villach site accountability system in alignment with Lam’s Annual Operations Plan.
- Coordinate cross-functional objective setting, performance tracking, and accountability reviews, including Quarterly Operations Reviews.
- Lead and coordinate ISO 9001 and customer audits for the Villach site in close cooperation with Lam’s global Compliance organization.
- Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives related to audit findings, process gaps, and management-system nonconformities.
- Facilitate alignment across organizations and functions to ensure clear ownership, timely execution, and measurable progress against site objectives.
- Prepare and communicate performance insights, audit readiness status, and improvement opportunities to local and global leadership teams.
## Who we’re looking for
We are looking for an engaged and structured Compliance & Accountability Program Manager who is passionate about operational excellence, quality management, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a cross-functional and international environment, can translate strategic priorities into practical execution systems, and is able to influence stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
You should be motivated by the opportunity to improve management systems, strengthen business processes, and help the Villach site successfully adapt to evolving market, technology, customer, and corporate requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or related field with 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience in quality, operations, compliance, program management, or business process management.
- 3+ years of related experience in project management or program management
- Experience working in an international or matrixed organization.
- Solid understanding of ISO 9001 standards and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience in compliance management, business process management, accountability systems, or operational excellence.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment in a matrix organization.
- Strong analytical skills, including data mining, performance analysis, and deriving actionable conclusions.
- Ability to prepare clear management-level communication, performance summaries, and review materials.
- Fluent English skills required; German language skills are beneficial.
- Quality or continuous-improvement certifications, such as Six Sigma Black Belt, are a plus.
## What We're Offering
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in the occupation group F. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
