Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $2,307.69 to $2,500.00+ biweekly amount, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Summary:
Provides for the day to day supervision, coordination, administration and organization of the Base operations for the Mountain Operations Division to include scheduling, receipt, security, storage and disbursement of available equipment, manpower and materials in order to provide Employees, Guests, Business Units and strategic partners with reliable, safe and timely service aligned with approved goals and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the Base & Equipment crews to include general village/ FF & E maintenance functions and equipment operations to insure that assignments are achieved in a timely, safe and effective manner meeting service level expectations.
Manage the recruiting, training, retention, termination, evaluation and motivation of all personnel assigned to insure effective, innovative and professional competent operations that align with corporate values and goals.
Assist in formulation and implementation of tactical plans to meet service level expectations to include construction/event/maintenance objectives.
Maintain proficient understanding of legal and risk management issues as directed by management to insure appropriate levels of understanding and practice exist within assigned areas of responsibility.
Contribute to preparation and compliance with department goals and objectives.
Provide for the physical maintenance of assigned base facilities, warehouse buildings, assigned equipment & vehicles.
Provide a safe work environment, while complying with all state and federal safety regulations, including OSHA, CDOT and local fire codes.
Maintain assigned base facilities in a clean, orderly condition.
Administer, coordinate and schedule staff assignments in order to achieve timely, safe, efficient, and cost effective project requirements that meet expectations.
Compile and appraise special projects in order to provide safe & timely completion within the scope of project’s needs, available manpower & equipment.
Monitor and record all appropriate administrative data to include labor, material and supply expense, equipment availability etc. to insure department and project evaluation.
Coordinate appropriate intercompany and contract services invoicing.
Assist in the preparation, evaluation & administration of project bids, proposals and contracts provided by vendors/contractors for outside services, materials and equipment to ensure company objectives are met on a timely basis within the scope of approved budgets.
Assist in accident investigations involving Base Operations resources to determine cause of accidents and makes recommendations to establish a safe environment for employees, guests and homeowners.
Assist in the development, administration and allocation of expenses associated with department budgets and assigned projects.
Maintain effective inter and intra department communications and relations with Business Units to ensure harmonious and effective operations.
Maintain effective communication with outside agencies and associations to ensure company objectives are accomplished to include the Village Company, Metro District, County Road & Bridge, Xcel Energy, Sheriff, State Patrol, Department of Transportation and State Highway Department, etc.
Conduct required safety courses and maintain safety attendance records

Basic Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid Class A or B Driver’s License
Due to the sensitive nature of this position, a criminal background check will be conducted after position is accepted. This background check will be done in accordance with standards enacted under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Required to stand, walk, use hands to handle, finger, feel or operate objects, tools and controls and reach with hands and arms.
Able to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk, hear, smell.
Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to lift/or move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to perform nighttime job responsibilities.
Preferred Experience and Special Skills:
High School diploma
College degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent job experience.
Three years of supervisory experience.
Five years construction/maintenance/project supervision experience.
Three years of equipment operations experience.
Must be proficient Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.
Must have a valid Colorado Driver’s License, class B air brake endorsement or the ability to receive one with 90 days.
Working knowledge in grounds/facility maintenance or related experience.
Working knowledge of warehouse and purchasing operations.
Working knowledge of surveying techniques and the ability to read, understand and adjust engineering drawings.
Strong leadership skills.
Demonstrate excellent guest Service skills.
Strong communication skills.
