Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cycle Counter to support inventory accuracy and material control within our manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for performing cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, maintaining inventory records, and supporting material flow activities to help ensure uninterrupted production.

What You'll Do
- Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliations
- Compare physical inventory to system records and investigate discrepancies
- Research and help resolve inventory variances and material issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
- Complete inventory transactions and system updates
- Communicate inventory concerns and count results to appropriate departments
- Assist with inventory preparation for new product launches
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required
- Provide backup support for shipping, receiving, and material handling activities
- Maintain housekeeping, safety, and inventory control standards
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- SAP experience preferred
- Ability to obtain forklift certification and safely operate a forklift
- Dependable attendance and work ethic
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing floor environment
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting as required
- Ability to work scheduled shift and overtime as needed
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment
Employment & Benefits
This position begins as a contingent assignment through one of our staffing partners. Employees with strong performance and attendance are typically considered for permanent employment after approximately 4-6 months, based on business needs.
Upon conversion to permanent employment, employees are eligible for:
- A pay increase to $20.28/hour
- Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (effective the first day of the month following conversion)
- 401(k) eligibility in accordance with plan guidelines
- Paid time off and holiday pay
- Additional wage progression up to $22.78/hour within approximately 18 months
