At Parkway Health & Rehabilitation Center, our Nursing Supervisors play a vital role in ensuring safe, compassionate, and high-quality care for the residents we serve.
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Supervisor to join our 141-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation community in Boston, Massachusetts.
This role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through clinical leadership, staff supervision, resident advocacy, and collaboration with our interdisciplinary care team. The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing care and nursing personnel across the facility during their assigned shift while helping ensure residents receive the responsive, individualized care they deserve.
Our community serves both Short-Term Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care residents, including individuals recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, as well as those requiring ongoing skilled nursing support.

Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing care services and nursing personnel across all units while on duty
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff
- Help ensure residents' health, safety, and well-being throughout the shift
- Respond promptly and appropriately to resident requests and concerns
- Promote and actively participate in facility safety programs
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Support consistent, high-quality nursing practices across the facility
- May assume responsibility as the facility's Infection Preventionist Nurse
- Assume responsibility for nursing services in the absence of the Assistant Director of Nursing Services and/or Director of Nursing Services
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors
- Support a positive environment centered on resident dignity, respect, and quality of life

Qualifications
- Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role
- Interest or experience in geriatrics
- Current BLS/CPR
- Experience with dementia population desirable
- This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
