The Logistics Security Intelligence Analyst supports Micron’s global logistics security program by producing timely, actionable intelligence on shipment risk, cargo theft trends, route exposure, carrier performance, alert activity, and logistics security incidents. This individual contributor role helps strengthen shipment visibility, support incident response, and enable data-driven decisions for valuable and sensitive shipments across Micron’s transportation network.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and report on logistics security data related to high-value and high-risk shipments, including shipment value, route risk, carrier performance, tracking status, alert activity, and incident history.
• Monitor internal, vendor, industry, open-source, and law-enforcement sources for cargo theft trends, route disruptions, regional security developments, and emerging threats.
• Prepare intelligence summaries, dashboards, route profiles, regional threat updates, incident trend reports, and briefing materials for logistics security leaders and multi-functional collaborators.
• Support lane, route, carrier, provider, and regional risk assessments by identifying risk indicators, documenting findings, and helping translate analysis into practical control recommendations.
• Analyze shipment monitoring alerts such as route deviation, unauthorized stop, signal loss, seal breach, geofence violation, cargo separation, and other logistics security events.
• Support blocking issue and incident response activities by validating information, compiling shipment and carrier details, maintaining incident timelines, and contributing to after-action reviews.
• Maintain structured records of incidents, near misses, alerts, carrier exceptions, recovery outcomes, false positives, device failures, and corrective actions to support program metrics and continuous improvement.
• Assist with logistics security playbooks, standard operating procedures, reporting templates, risk assessment criteria, audit support materials, and governance documentation.
• Use data analytics, AI-enabled tools, mapping resources, shipment visibility platforms, and intelligence databases to support efficient, well-governed logistics risk analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Security, Risk Management, Business, Data Analytics, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
• Experience supporting logistics security, transportation risk, supply chain risk, intelligence analysis, investigations, or related risk management functions.
• Collect, analyze, and synthesize operational, security, shipment, carrier, and incident data to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Solid understanding of logistics operations, transportation networks, cargo movement, carrier management, supply chain security, and data visualization/reporting tools.
• Prepare business-focused reports and risk assessments, collaborate across functions, and manage sensitive logistics and security information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in supply chain security, logistics, intelligence analysis, risk management, or related disciplines, with relevant certifications/training (e.g., TAPA, CTPAT).
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and communicate logistics security risks in clear business terms.
• Diligent with the ability to maintain accurate records, reports, documentation, and timelines in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams, logistics partners, carriers, security vendors, and internal collaborators.
• Demonstrated sound judgment, confidentiality, and proficiency with AI-enabled, data-driven, and automation tools to improve analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
