Senior Specialist, Global Talent Acquisition
Department: Global Talent Management
Reports To: Global Talent Acquisition Operations Lead
Location: Toulouse, France (onsite)
About the Role
As a Senior Specialist, Global Talent Acquisition, you will be a key member of Evotec's Global Talent Management organization, partnering closely with hiring managers, HR colleagues, and business leaders to attract and hire exceptional talent.
In this role, you will serve as the primary Talent Acquisition partner for Evotec's Toulouse site while collaborating with stakeholders across the broader international organization. You will lead end-to-end recruitment activities for scientific, technical, and business functions, providing strategic talent acquisition expertise and market insights to support Evotec's talent strategy.
Beyond delivering high-quality hiring outcomes, you will contribute to global Talent Acquisition initiatives, employer branding activities, process improvements, and the ongoing development of best-in-class recruiting practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Lead full-cycle recruitment activities for mid-level to senior and highly specialized roles across scientific, technical, operational, and business functions.
- Serve as the primary Talent Acquisition partner for the Toulouse site while supporting selected international hiring projects across Evotec's global organization.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs, define role requirements, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies including direct search, talent mapping, market research, networking, and pipeline building.
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure a strong match against role requirements, team needs, and organizational values.
- Manage offer processes and support successful onboarding transitions.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
Stakeholder Management & Talent Advisory
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, business leaders, and HR partners by providing recruitment expertise, labor market intelligence, and talent acquisition recommendations.
- Facilitate regular hiring reviews and contribute to workforce planning discussions.
- Coach hiring managers on interview best practices, candidate assessment, and selection decisions.
- Support senior stakeholders in making informed talent decisions through data-driven insights and market intelligence.
- Collaborate effectively within a global matrix environment across functions, business units, and geographies.
Global Talent Acquisition Excellence
- Contribute to the development and implementation of global Talent Acquisition strategies, standards, and best practices.
- Partner with colleagues across the Global Talent Acquisition and Talent Management teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality recruitment experience.
- Participate in global projects related to recruitment process improvement, technology enhancements, talent attraction, and employer branding.
- Share market insights, sourcing strategies, and recruitment innovations with the wider Talent Acquisition community.
- Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging throughout all hiring activities.
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
- Champion a best-in-class candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Represent Evotec's employer brand in the talent market through networking, career events, university partnerships, and professional communities.
- Develop innovative approaches to attract and engage diverse talent.
- Act as an ambassador for Evotec's culture, values, and career opportunities.
Process Optimization & Analytics
- Continuously improve recruiting processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, quality of hire, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Ensure data accuracy and process compliance within Workday and other recruitment platforms.
- Generate and analyze recruitment metrics, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support Talent Acquisition reporting and strategic decision-making through data-driven analyses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant years of experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally within a global, matrixed, and fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of French recruiting practices, employment regulations, and labor code requirements, with the ability to advise stakeholders and ensure recruitment process compliance.
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting senior-level and highly specialized talent.
- Experience supporting scientific, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related business functions is highly desirable.
- Strong expertise in sourcing methodologies, market mapping, candidate assessment, and recruitment technologies.
- Experience working with ATS and HRIS systems, ideally Workday Recruiting, as well as LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and business acumen.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
